If I were Prime Minister: Rational decision-making classes would be a part of the national curriculum

I’m a scientist at heart and have made much of my living from playing poker, a game of tough decisions. I believe that the ability to think rationally is one of the human species’ greatest attributes.  Too little focus is given in mainstream education on how to make sound-decisions, and the various cognitive-biases (i.e. illogical deviations from rational-thought) that we all regularly fall prey to.  Poor decision making; be it from ego, stubbornness or superstition; can be costly both financially and emotionally.

2) What are the interventions that can solve as many of them to as great an extent as possible?
