Dominique Strauss-Kahn (former International Monetary Fund boss) says in French court that he’s completely unaware that women who participated in orgies at luxury hotels in Paris and Washington, D.C. are prostitutes.

Dominique is accused with 13 co-defendants of aggravated pimping for operating a prostitution-ring out Lille’s Hotel Carlton and other luxury-hotels in Paris, Washington, D.C.  and Brussels.

One prostitute, ‘Jade;’ says, (she recalls)a ‘people and bodies blended together without condoms,’ acknowledging she didn’t recognize who Dominique Strauss-Kahn at first; but later when Dominique appears on TV (she does notice him, exclaiming, ‘That’s him, but with his clothes on’).

The one-time French presidential hopeful, whose career has been derailed by a separate sex scandal in New York, said he believed the women at these well-known orgies, held every three months, involved ‘just a group of friends.’

‘I have a very hectic life, with just a few outlets for recreation, and these sessions are part of that;’ Dominique Strauss-Kahn says in court.

Prostitutes who have testified in the case say that between 2009 and 2011 — during a global financial crisis — International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn organizes orgies at luxury hotels; a restaurant in Paris and also in Washington, D.C.

The court has heard testimony from some of Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s fellow defendants; who include a Belgian brothel owner, local-businessmen, a police officer and hotel-staffers accused of organizing sex-parties for Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s (and ‘friends’) benefit.

The economist, known as *DSK*, faces up to 10 years in prison and a €1.500,000 ($1.5 mil) (equivalent to $1,700,000 ($1.7 mi lUSD) fine if convicted.

It is not illegal to pay for sex in France, but it is against the law to solicit or to run a prostitution business.
