‘Texas Dolly’ plays Event #43: $1,000 Super Seniors No limit texas hold’em.

Doyle is a funny cat. He abhors publicity. Just wants to play poker and be one of the guys. But this moment was special. One never knows how long Doyle will be playing events that take lots of time and energy. He’s semi-retired from the WSOP now, but decided at the last minute to make one 2015 WSOP appearance in todays Super Seniors event. I was reluctant to announce him to the crowd, but this moment is much bigger than Doyle. This is one for us. It belongs to us. One for the fans. One for the game’s tradition and the time capsule that exist in all of our memories when we remember playing with and seeing the greats. Thanks for coming today, Doyle and to the crowd which recognized this as a special moment.
