Cuts $5,500,000,000,000  ($5.5 tril) in projected-spending over the next decade, but would increase the defense-expenditure by $90,000,000,000 ($90 bil) — much more than the $51,000,000,000 ($51 bil) proposed by President Obama.

Road to Hell paved with good-intentions.  ‘At a time of massive wealth inequity; Republicans apparently believe that the richest people (wealthiest 1% to 0.001%) in America need to be made even richer, at the expense of everyone-else.’  – Senator Bernie Sanders (VT)

It’s not good enough that 99% percent of all gross-income today is going to 1% of the (U.S.) population. It’s not good enough that 1/10th (of people) own as much assets and disposable-cash (on hand) as a 90% majority. Republicans believe that we ought to cut tax rates for millionaires and billionaires and subsidize corporate-ventures and more wars. It’s not good enough that since 1985 the richest 1/10th of 1% has reaped profits of over $8,000,000,000,000 ($8 trillion); yet millions of middle-class and working-families and poor (those at or below the Federal poverty guidelines); people who are working longer-hours for lower-wages; unemployed, and/or disabled; people who have seen their quality of life steadily erode and otherwise worsen; in the last 40 years; due to neglect, abuse, and exclusion from the sociopolitical economic arena; the vaunted middle-class and poor; – apparently don’t need any help whatsoever from the federal government. – Senator Bernie Sanders (VT)
