Gia Soriano; shot in the head at close range; in critical condition until her death; dies of overwhelming trauma. Gia is the 2nd student to die at the hands of shooter Jaylen Fryberg, a freshman who turns the gun on himself in a suicide . Zoe Galasso, 14, (Jaylen’s ex who had broken up just days earlier) is named as the 1rst victim dead in the shooting. 2 others; Shaylee Chuckulnaskit (14) and Andrew Fryberg (15, Jaylen’s cousin seeing Zoe); remain in critical condition with severe head wounds.
